• Firewise® Workshop – The Power of Embers. Part of the ongoing virtual workshop series from Firewise®. In this workshop, “Join guest expert, Steve Quarles, PH.D., IBHS Research Center, and learn about the impacts embers are capable of and the little things around the home that are vulnerable. Quarles will share some information on why and how IBHS is doing wildfire ember research at the lab in South Carolina.”

• FEMA has released an app that has weather updates, safety reminders and tips, info on where to go or who to call in an emergency, and a disaster photo uploader to allow you to help first responders. You can download the app here.
